Annual Report2026
Our inaugural report documents the Foundation’s beginning, mission, stewardship, priorities, and direction for the year ahead.
A Letter from
Our Founder
Dear Friends,
The Sanroma Foundation was created from a personal commitment to a cause that has touched my family and far too many others: Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia. I believe every family deserves clarity, compassion, and support, and that research and education are essential to creating a future with more hope.
Although 2026 is our first year as a nonprofit organization, we have laid the foundation for long-term impact. This year was dedicated to building our structure, clarifying our mission, and establishing the relationships that will help us make a difference in the years ahead.
We are focused on three priorities: advancing research, expanding education and awareness, and supporting families and caregivers with practical resources.
With gratitude,
Jason M. Sanroma
Founder & President
The strongest foundations are built one step at a time. Our first year was dedicated to building an organization that can create lasting impact for generations to come.

Our Vision
A world where individuals and families living with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia are supported, informed, and never face the journey alone.
Guided by Purpose. Driven by Hope.
Our First Year
2026 marked the beginning of The Sanroma Foundation. What began as an idea to create a lasting organization focused on Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, education, and family support became an officially recognized nonprofit.
The Foundation was formally established to build an organization capable of creating meaningful, long-term impact.
The Internal Revenue Service recognized the Foundation as a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) public charity, creating the foundation for charitable giving, grant funding, partnerships, and future programming.
Early outreach included communication with the Office of the Chancellor at UMass Lowell, opening conversations around the Foundation and opportunities for future engagement.
The Foundation began developing the infrastructure needed to grow responsibly, including its website, public communications, charitable giving, grant development, organizational planning, and this inaugural annual report.

SUPPORT THE NEXT CHAPTER
Donations help turn a new foundation into meaningful work.
The Foundation’s first year was largely founder-supported. Outside donations, grants, and partnerships will help us move from building infrastructure to creating educational resources, community initiatives, and practical support for families.
Looking Ahead
to 2027
2026 was about establishing The Sanroma Foundation. In 2027, the focus shifts toward turning that foundation into action through stronger community relationships, educational outreach, and the development of our first programs.
Community
Build relationships with families, community organizations, universities, and other partners who share our commitment to those affected by Alzheimer’s disease and dementia.
Programs
Begin developing practical educational and support initiatives that respond to the needs of individuals, families, and caregivers.
Growth
Expand the Foundation’s leadership, fundraising capacity, and organizational infrastructure so our work can grow responsibly.

Thank You.
We are deeply grateful to the individuals, families, donors, and supporters who believe in our mission and help make our work possible.
